Come meet Daniel F. Purcell, a friend and colleague, in this 4 hour Master Class. Dan will talk about the last 5 ½ years of his career, the good, the bad, and the fun. He will share valuable information for a career in the performing arts, work with you with sides from actual shows and auditions, and give you tips on techniques (bring your own monologue). In just five and a half years,  Daniel had been able to amass an amazing body of work on the stage and in front of a camera and he loves sharing what he has learned that has made him successful. This will be a highly interactive workshop.

In this workshop you will learn:

• How he builds three dimensional characters for stage and screen, which allowed him to turn a "throw away" character into a major character on a TV show.

• The differences between acting on stage and screen and how to make the leap as he did.

• The nuances of acting in front of the camera that will make you look like an experienced film actor and will make directors want to keep working with you.

• The secrets of auditioning for film that will get you called back.

• The attitude that will help you deal with not being cast.

• Where to find work in the area and other resources he recommends the will help you along the way.
